Eine Frau* auf dem Fahrrad ist ein politisches Statement. Wer Fahrrad fährt, ist unabhängig und frei, und nimmt gleichberechtigt den Platz im öffentlichen Raum ein. Frauen* mussten sich das Fahrradfahren lange gegen gesellschaftliche Widerstände erkämpfen, um die Freiheit auf den Straßen und in die Köpfe der Menschen zu bringen. Das Fahrrad ist für uns ein Symbol der Emanzipation. Aber Fahrrad fahren darf keine Frage des Muts sein! Wir kämpfen dafür, dass alle Menschen ohne Angst in der Stadt mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs sein können!
12 Uhr – Treffpunkt am Mariannenplatz am Feuerwehrbrunnen: Speakerinnen & Musik
13 Uhr – Start des Rides, wir fahren ca. eine Stunde in entspanntem Tempo!

Bicycle demonstration for women*, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans* – purple riot!
A woman* on a bicycle is a political statement. Who rides a bicycle is independent and free, and occupies an equal place in public space. Women* had to fight against social resistance for a long time to bring freedom on the streets and into people’s minds. For us, the bicycle is a symbol of emancipation. But cycling must not be a matter of courage! We are fighting for all people to be able to ride a bike in the city without fear!
12 PM – Meeting point at Mariannenplatz at the fire brigade fountain: Speakers & Music
1 PM – Start of the ride, we ride for about one hour at a relaxed pace!
